# How to remove a color from text

|| This feature is fully operational on Desktop. However, when using mobile, please note that there are limitations in erasing Border and Shadow colors.

Kickly offers the flexibility to customize text layers with different colors, including **Main**, **Highlight** (background), **Border**, and **Shadow** colors. You have the option to add or remove any of these colors, allowing your design to truly stand out.

To remove a color from text, follow these steps:

1. **Open** your desired template or project.
2. **Click** once on the text you wish to modify.
3. In the editing menu, located on the left side for desktop users or at the bottom for mobile users, **open** the color option you wish to remove — Main, Highlight, Border, or Shadow.
4. With the color picker open, click on the **Erase** icon at the bottom left of the dialog box.
5. **Click** outside the editing menu to apply and save your changes.
