How can I edit the background color of a template?

The color palette, located at the bottom of each template, displays all the colors utilized in the design, whether they are applied to text or shapes. By using the palette, you can make changes to the backgrounds of the template, which are typically locked layers that cannot be edited directly.

To modify a background color, please follow these steps:

Open the template on either desktop or mobile.
Locate the color palette at the bottom of the template. On mobile devices, you may need to scroll further to access it.
In most cases, the background colors are located on the left side of the palette.
Click on the desired color, then select your new color from the provided palette. Alternatively, you can input the specific HEX color code.
Click outside of the editing menu to ensure the changes are successfully applied.

Add a highlight effect to text

Text highlighting allows you to mark text in any color of your choice. Note that when you highlight, it applies to the entire text layer, meaning you cannot select specific parts of the text for highlighting.

To highlight a text layer:

Open the template on either desktop or mobile.
Click once on the text you want to modify.
In the editing menu, which is situated on the left side of the template on desktop or at the bottom on mobile devices, locate the Highlight option.
Choose your desired color from the provided palette, or alternatively, input the specific HEX color code.
After selecting your preferred color, click outside of the editing menu to ensure that the changes are successfully applied.

To remove a highlight, open the Highlight option and click on the Remove icon located at the bottom of the color palette.

Add a colored border to text

This feature is exclusively available on all paid plans. While it can be viewed and utilized on mobile devices, creation is only possible on the desktop version.

To add a colored border to a text, follow these steps:

Open your desired template on a desktop.
Click once on the text you want to modify.
In the editing menu that appears on the left side of the template, find the Border option.
To select a border color, click on the default color icon. A palette will open, allowing you to choose a color or input a specific HEX color code.
Adjust the border width using the arrows to the left or by entering a value from 0 to 10.
Click outside of the editing menu to ensure that the changes are successfully applied.

Add a colored drop shadow to text

This feature is exclusively available on all paid plans. While it can be viewed and utilized on mobile devices, creation is only possible on the desktop version.

To create a colored drop shadow text effect, follow these steps:

Open your desired template on a desktop.
Click once on the text you want to modify.
In the editing menu that appears on the left side of the template, find the Shadow option.
The Shadow intensity is initially set at 0. Use the arrows to adjust the intensity, or directly input a value between 0 and 1.
To select a shadow color, click on the color palette next to the value field. Here, you can either pick a color or enter a specific HEX color code.
Click outside of the editing menu to ensure that the changes are successfully applied.
